I love Bank Holidays.

That feeling of an extra day to enjoy oneself, seeing friends and family.

My parents came to visit, and we chatted merrily and watched Gosford Park on DVD.

How do we put up with the incessant babble?

Well, not too well. Not as cheerfully as we pretend in polite company. By the time Coronation Street comes on at night, I'd happily gag my entire family in order to be able to catch even every other line of dialogue.
